About Kevin W. Boyd

Kevin W. Boyd  M.B.A., M.S.   is Executive Director of Preferred Discounts LLC, and the online auction training website trainingu4auctions.com. He is an online marketing consultant, a multi award-winning eBay Education Specialist, college instructor and public speaker. He has taught seminars and consulted with thousands of online entrepreneurs from coast to coast.

Kevin has authored three eBay books, eBay Business at Your Fingertips, eBay Rescue Problem Solver, eBay Rescue Profit Maker and is the coauthor of Create a Website for Fun, Profit & Business. He has also been profiled in the books Secrets of the eBay Millionaires, How to Do Everything With Your eBay Business, and eBay PowerSeller Million Dollar Ideas.  

Kevin has appeared on various television and radio shows including KING 5 TV in Seattle and eBay Radio. Reporters have interviewed him for his insights to online entrepreneurship with published articles appearing in Bloomberg News, Inventor’s Digest, The Seattle Times and several other newspapers. Kevin also served on the steering committee for Mpire.com, an auction and online pricing analytics software development company. The primary objectives for his writing, teaching and public speaking, is to educate online sellers at all levels and equip them with the skills necessary for their ultimate success.

During a 23-year career with Fortune 500 and other smaller companies, Kevin held several positions including Bell Labs engineer and most recently, Vice President of Professional Services for a Cardiology software company. He is also a former professional musician and has performed at Carnegie Hall.
