About Kevin W. Boyd

Kevin W. Boyd, President of Preferred Discounts, LLC, and the eBay auction training website Training U4 Auctions has been buying and selling on eBay for over eight years. Kevin has taught seminars and consulted with thousands of eBay buyers/sellers and businesses from coast to coast. Kevin is a multiple winner of eBay’s prestigious Education Specialist Excellence Award (awarded to just three out of over 1000 Instructors worldwide).

During a 23-year career with Fortune 500 and other smaller companies, Kevin held several positions including Bell Labs Engineer, Sr. Project Manager, Director of Customer Services, and most recently, Vice President of Professional Services for a market leading Healthcare Cardiology Software Company.

In 2003, Kevin left the corporate world and started an eBay-based, online business selling to businesses and consumers. He quickly became an eBay Power Seller.

Kevin is the author of three published books; "eBay Business at Your Fingertips", "eBay Rescue Problem Solver" and "eBay Rescue Profit Maker." He has also been profiled in four other published eBay books, "Secrets of the eBay Millionaires", "How to Do Everything With Your eBay Business", "How eBay Really Works", and "eBay PowerSeller Million Dollar Ideas."

Reporters have covered his eBay courses with published articles appearing in the Seattle Times as well as other Washington State newspapers. “Ask the Entrepreneur” Internet Radio and Inventor’s Digest magazine have interviewed him for his insights to eBay entrepreneurship. Kevin recently served on the customer steering committee council for Mpire (www.mpire.com), a Seattle based, auction and online pricing analytics software development company

Kevin also owns other businesses that are not eBay related and is the published author of two Aquarium books with over 80,000 books sold to date. Earlier in life, Kevin lived in Nashville, TN and was a professional bass player. Topping his musical career, he performed at Carnegie Hall.
